Christmas Pickles and Chutney: a Mini Post

Back in September I posted a Seventeenth Century recipe for pickles (see post here). The final products are ready for tasting and preparing as presents, so I thought I’d share the finished products here. They taste pretty good, but I’d only recommend shallots if you like your pickles strong *dabs the pickle sweats from forehead*. I decided to include some faces in decorating these edible presents that will be familiar to regular readers of the blog. Available in all good shops*.
